How claims work
- Contact us at (941) 226-8453 or info@bradentonwaterco.com with your name, install address, purchase/invoice date, and a description of the issue (photos help).
- We diagnose whether the issue is covered under manufacturer component warranty, our labor warranty, or neither.
- Covered manufacturer parts are repaired or replaced per the OEM’s limited warranty (often parts-only after labor period). Covered labor issues from our install are corrected by us or our licensed plumbing partner at no charge during the labor period.
- Replacement parts are warranted for the remainder of the original period (or as the OEM specifies).
Exclusions
This limited warranty does not cover:
- Misuse, abuse, neglect, accident, or failure to maintain the system (including salt levels and scheduled filter changes)
- Damage from freezing, flooding, fire, power surges, or other acts of nature
- Improper installation or service by anyone other than Bradenton Water Co or our approved partners
- Unauthorized modifications, bypass abuse, or plumbing work that stresses the system
- Water conditions outside the system’s design (excessive sediment, iron, manganese, hydrogen sulfide, oil, or other foulants that plug media, valves, or membranes)
- Consumable items: salt, spent resin/carbon after normal service life, RO prefilters, postfilters, and membranes
- Incidental or consequential damages (including water damage, property damage, or loss of use), to the fullest extent permitted by Florida law
What this is based on
We designed these periods to match what typical residential Fleck/Clack dealer systems and major tank OEMs actually publish — and to stay competitive with local and national peers — without promising coverage the manufacturer won’t honor:
- Fleck / Pentair valves: 5-year limited warranty on Fleck residential control valves (Pentair Water Treatment performance bulletin; dealer listings for Fleck 5600SXT commonly state 5-yr valve / 10-yr tank).
- Clack WS1: 5-year limited warranty on softener/filter control valves from date of shipment (Clack Corporation Softener and Filter Controls Limited Warranty).
- Pentair Structural tanks: 10 years for Structural Polyglass vessels 6–13″ diameter; brine tanks/cabinets typically 5 years (Pentair residential filtration limited warranty schedule).
- RO systems: Undersink RO commonly 1 year on system parts (Pentair residential filtration warranty schedule for undersink RO).
- Competitor benchmarks: Honest Water Co (Fort Worth) publishes lifetime tanks/ceramic discs (their Enpress/Hankscraft stack), 5-yr valve/media, 1-yr RO, 1-yr labor (honestwaterco.com/warranty). Safer Water Co (Bradenton) advertises a 1-year workmanship guarantee (saferwaterco.com). Culligan/Kinetico/RainSoft often market longer branded “lifetime” packages that are OEM-specific — we only match what our dealer parts docs support.
Confirm final periods with your distributor’s manufacturer warranty paperwork before launch. If your tank OEM is lifetime-rated, you may extend tank coverage; if not, keep the 10-year Structural/Pentair-class term.
Transfer & liability
Coverage is non-transferable except with our written consent. Our total liability under this limited warranty is limited to repair or replacement of the defective covered item, or refund of the original purchase price of that item, at our option. This warranty gives you specific legal rights; you may also have other rights under Florida law.
